When I found out that the Candler Park Fall Fest was coming up, I knew I wanted to participate. I love my little community. Candler Park is an in-town neighborhood here in Atlanta that feels a lot like the small southern town where I grew up. Merchants like Candler Park Market, Fellini's Pizza, Dr. Bombay's Underwater Tea Emporium, Flying Biscuit, Gato and Donna Van Gogh's mean that you can get almost anything you'd ever need while enjoying the quirky-creative-local-flavor that makes the neighborhood so cool.
I thought and thought about what I could offer to festival goers that would not only be fun but actually desirable. My Fall Mini Sessions were already planned and I had been looking at different autumnal items to use as props and backdrops when the idea for a Fall Photo Booth began to form. I wasn't quite sure how the idea would go over, but people really loved the idea! Over and over people exclaimed, "What a GREAT idea!" It was an experiment to be sure, but I think I can call it a success. I had a great time and I was able to capture some really fun images.
