She was only here for a short time but I managed to get in a Christmas Session just hours before her mom set off on the 9 hour drive back to their new home in North Carolina. Riley Grace is one of the most beautiful two year olds in the world, right? I mean look at those eyes, and those curls! Aren't they just to die for?
I met Erin when I volunteered at for the church I attend. I helped out with marketing and printed material design and Erin was the director of the youth ministry, Kidzville. Though we both worked in the same office each week, we didn't really get to know each other until she asked me to work on a mural for Kidzville. I'm so glad she asked me to help on that project because it gave me the opportunity to get to know one of the most passionate, intelligent, caring, and downright hilariously funny individuals I've ever run across. The fact that I'm even working as a photographer is due, in large part, to Erin's encouragement and support. Her enthusiasm gave me the courage to start Callander Photography and I am truly honored that she came to me for her family's portraits again this year. Working with the Colvins is such a joy! I wish everyone could get to know these fabulous people; the Colvins are Erin, Clay, Caiden, Cameron and now Crew.
ChristopherAyden Darsey finally made his long awaited entrance into the big wide world! I can hardly wait for our full blown newborn session. This little guy was hardly 11 hours new in these photos and you can see, he already loves the camera! You will see more of this gorgeous little guy in the coming weeks but here is are a few snaps from his birthday. :)
