Harvest Moon | Atlanta GA Photographer

What's the fun of being a photographer if you don't grab your camera out of your bag and capture beautiful things? Tonight's harvest moon was spectacular! It took me a while to get my settings right but I'm pretty happy with the results. I started out with the ISO way too high (6400) and the aperture opened WAY too wide (f5.6) with a shutter speed that was, again, WAY too long. (1/60) The first few shots looked like big white blobs! WIth a little trial and error, I cranked everything way down and things went MUCH better.  I ended up shooting these at 300mm, shutter speed 1/250, f22, ISO 400 and 800 respectively.
